These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the StarryKit website, AI visual design workspace, accounts, Credits, exports, and related services provided by Tedtech Limited.
StarryKit is provided by Tedtech Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong under registration number 79756238, with its registered office at FLAT 2304, 23/F, HO KING COMM CENTRE, 2-16 FA YUEN STREET, MONG KOK, HONG KONG. By creating an account, purchasing a paid service, or otherwise using StarryKit, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use StarryKit for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from StarryKit's breach of applicable law or security obligations. You may not sell or transfer an account or Credits, share an account to bypass product limits, or use another person's account without authorization.
StarryKit provides AI-assisted creation, editable visual documents, direct editing, storage, rendering, and supported exports. Some features may be beta, experimental, usage-limited, or dependent on third parties, and we may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features or formats. You must not use StarryKit to violate law or third-party rights; create or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, exploitative, or malicious material; access accounts or non-public content without authorization; collect personal information without a lawful basis; probe, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass security, authentication, rate, Credit, or access controls; impersonate others; or use AI output deceptively or as the sole basis for a high-impact legal, medical, financial, employment, housing, insurance, or similar decision.
You retain ownership of content you submit and any rights you may lawfully acquire in results generated for you. You grant Tedtech Limited a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, render, modify, and display your content only as needed to provide, protect, support, and improve the user-facing StarryKit service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required for your content. StarryKit currently does not use your content to train generalized AI models. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, non-unique, or unsuitable; review it before use. We do not guarantee that output is original, non-infringing, registrable as intellectual property, or fit for a particular purpose, and other users may receive similar output.
The StarryKit Font Registry includes fonts only after we verify the applicable license materials and determine that the font may be used in StarryKit and in the export formats we support. To provide an export, StarryKit may render a registered font or embed compliant font data in the delivered file, including a supported PPTX file. StarryKit does not provide registered font files as standalone downloads. Each font remains subject to its own copyright, license terms, attribution requirements, and notices; using a font through StarryKit does not transfer ownership of, or grant rights beyond the applicable license for, that font. Availability in Google Slides and other third-party products depends on the fonts and functionality those platforms support and is not guaranteed by inclusion in the StarryKit Font Registry.
Prices, plan features, included Credits, billing cadence, and taxes are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew for the selected period until cancelled, and you authorize our payment provider to charge the selected payment method. Credits are a limited license to consume eligible StarryKit features; they are not money, stored value, property, or transferable balances and cannot be redeemed for cash. Subscription Credits remain available during the applicable paid billing period. Separately purchased Credits currently expire 12 months after purchase; promotional or free Credits may have different disclosed rules. You may cancel through available billing controls. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and remaining Credits may be used until that period ends. Except where applicable law requires a refund or cancellation right, all payments are non-refundable and unused Credits are not refundable or exchangeable.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. StarryKit depends on third parties for authentication, AI and image processing, document parsing, hosting, analytics, payments, and exports. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. If you connect Google or export to Google Slides, you authorize the limited account or Drive access shown on the consent screen and the actions you request. You can revoke access in your Google Account, but revocation does not undo a completed export or automatically delete your StarryKit account. We are not responsible for third-party changes or failures outside our reasonable control, while remaining responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
You may stop using StarryKit or cancel a subscription at any time. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that harms StarryKit or others. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. The in-product account deletion control deletes the authentication identity and linked sign-in access but may not simultaneously delete every workspace record; contact us to request deletion of remaining personal information. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective, including payment obligations, intellectual property terms, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarryKit is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of beta or third-party features, or that AI output will be accurate, unique, suitable for every intended use, or fit for a particular purpose. These Terms do not exclude or limit any warranty, guarantee, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tedtech Limited and its officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or opportunity. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to StarryKit or these Terms will not exceed the greater of HKD 800 or the amount you paid StarryKit for the relevant service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or StarryKit. Mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring a claim in your local courts remain unaffected where applicable. We may update these Terms to reflect changes to StarryKit, our business, or legal requirements. We will publish the updated version and effective date and provide reasonable additional notice of material changes. Unless applicable law requires another form of consent, continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
